San Francisco – Las Vegas
This tour boasts natural wonders and plenty of colours, from the bright lights of Las Vegas and the cosmopolitan cities of Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and Santa Monica to Arizona’s most famous landmark, the Grand Canyon, beautiful San Francisco’s steep rolling hills, eclectic architecture and iconic Golden Gate Bridge, and the nearby Napa Valley wine country. Stretching across the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains is the World Heritage-listed Yosemite National Park boasting spectacular granite cliffs and the breathtaking Bridalveil Fall, whilst the famous 17-Mile Drive showcases the California coast at its finest including Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Las Vegas – Las Vegas (Round Trip)
The most populous city in Nevada, Las Vegas is also the entertainment capital of the world renowned for its bright lights, resorts and casinos. In stark contrast are some of America’s most phenomenal natural creations including the diverse environments of Zion National Park home to a wide variety of animal and birdlife and Bryce Canyon, a giant natural amphitheatre in South Western Utah with distinctive ‘hoodoos’, a spectacular palette of red, orange, and white geological structures formed by wind, water, and ice erosion of sedimentary rocks. Straddling the border between Utah and Arizona is Lake Powell, a reservoir on the Colorado River stretching up Glen Canyon and filling over 90 side canyons; Monument Valley boasts the overwhelming grandeur of natural sandstone pinnacles; whilst the ultimate beauty is the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Today discover nature’s creations as you roam through Yosemite National Park. Enjoy your Included Yosemite Valley open air tram tour as a Park Ranger interprets the history, geology, plant and animal life in the region. Witness the stunning Bridalveil Falls, known to the Ahwahneechee Indians as ‘Pohono’ meaning ‘spirit of the puffing wind’ because the wind often blows the falls sideways giving it the appearance of a bride’s veil. Glacier Point offers superb views of Yosemite Valley and one of the most recognised features in the park, Half Dome. Whilst exploring the natural serenity of the park, keep look out for its active wildlife such as black bears, coyotes, mountain lions and marmots. Day 6: 17 Mile Drive - Monterey

Return to the California coast and wind along the picturesque 17 mile drive enroute to Monterey, home of Cannery Row. Canning factories once lined this waterfront street, made famous in John Steinbeck’s novel.

Day 7: Hearst Castle - Santa Barbara

This morning visit the quaint sea side village of Carmel-by-the-Sea. Meander through the street lined cafes and boutiques to the ivory sand beach at the end of the main street. SCENIC ENRICH: Continue along California’s picturesque coast to Hearst Castle for a tour of the grand rooms admiring the intricacy of the elaborate furnishings. Motivated to no longer camp on their ranch, William Randolph Hearst built an estate of 165 rooms and 127 acres of gardens, terraces, pools and walkways. Continue to Santa Barbara.

Day 11: Las Vegas - Grand Canyon

Head west to Arizona on an Included SCENIC ENRICH flightseeing adventure to the Grand Canyon. Fly to the western rim of the Grand Canyon located within the Hualapai Nation. Explore at your own pace visiting a Native American cultural village which houses exhibits showing the various ancient dwellings of local tribes and the stunning vantage point of Eagle Point including the Skywalk Bridge. Enjoy Included lunch at Guano Point which by virtue of its location, is able to offer a nearly 360 degree canyon view.

Enjoy a day in this dazzling city at leisure. Perhaps try your luck in one of ‘Sin City’s’ many casinos or visit Madame Tussaud’s Wax museum or indulge in a relaxing massage at Spa Bellagio. Tonight enjoy dinner with your fellow travellers followed by Included SCENIC ENRICH: Cirque du Soleil ‘O’. Located at the Bellagio, ‘O’ is an aquatic masterpiece of surrealism and theatrical romance. Variations in elevation and formations create many diverse environments of Zion National Park and attract a variety of animal and birdlife.
